Open a TicketIf you purchased a domain and want to connect it to a hosting package (either from TicketHelp or another provider), you need to update your nameservers (NS). This process tells the internet where to find your website files.
If you have hosting with us, nameservers are fine:
ns1.tickethelp.ro
ns2.tickethelp.ro
These can also be found in the hosting account activation email or in the service administration area.
The process is simple and can be done directly from your customer account:
Log in to your account on whmcs.tickethelp.ro.
Go to the section "Domains" -> "My domains".
Identify the domain you want to modify and click on the management button (fixed key or "Manage Domain").
In the left menu, select the option "Nameservers".
Choose the option "Use custom nameservers" (Use custom nameservers).
Enter the new addresses in the Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2 fields.
Click the "Change Nameservers" button to save.
If your domain is .ro and is not managed directly through our platform, the modification is done on the website rotld.ro:
Go to the "Domains Administration" section.
Log in with your domain name and password (or request an authorization key).
Go to the "Nameservers" section and enter the new values.
Propagation: After you hit "Save", the change is not instantaneous. It may take between 2 and 24 hours (sometimes up to 48 hours) for the site to be visible from the new location.
Checking: You can use tools like dig or sites like Whatsmydns.net to see when the servers were updated.
Emails: Note that changing nameservers will also affect the email service. Make sure you have the email addresses set up on the new server as well before making the change.
