Open a TicketIf you want to receive and send emails using the native Mail app on Apple devices, follow the steps below. We recommend using the IMAP protocol to keep messages in sync across all your devices.
Go to Settings -> Mail.
Click Accounts -> Add Account.
Choose Other at the bottom, then Add Mail Account.
Enter general data:
Name: The name that will appear to recipients.
Email: Full address (eg: contact@domeniultau.ro).
Password: Email address password.
On the next screen, make sure the IMAP tab is selected and enter the following settings:
Incoming Mail Server:
Host Name: mail.domeniultau.ro
User Name: Full email address.
Password: Email address password.
Outgoing Mail Server:
Host Name: mail.domeniultau.ro
User Name: Full email address.
Password: Email address password.
Press Next. If the system asks you about the certificate, press Trust (Continue/Trust).
Open Mail.
From the top menu, choose Mail -> Add Account.
Select Other Mail Account... and press Continue.
Enter your name, email address and password, then press Sign In.
The system will try to find the settings automatically. If it fails, fill in manually:
Account Type: IMAP.
Incoming Mail Server: mail.domeniultau.ro
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.domeniultau.ro
Press Sign In.
If you experience sending or receiving errors, manually check the port settings in the Advanced or Server Settings section:
Incoming (IMAP): Port 993 (using SSL/TLS).
Outgoing (SMTP): Port 465 (using SSL/TLS).
Authentication: Password.
"Cannot Verify Server Identity": This occurs because the Apple device is verifying the server name's SSL certificate. If you receive this error, use instead of mail.domeniultau.ro the main server name (eg: node1.tickethelp.ro), which you find in the welcome email.
Deleted messages do not disappear: Check in your account settings (Mailbox Behaviors) that the "Trash" folder on the iPhone is mapped to the "Trash" folder on the server.
